Inspired by the Art Nouveau period and vintage Hollywood glamour, this sitting room is a comfortable yet refined space tucked into the sunny corner of an historic home in central Connecticut. Special attention has been paid to balancing the black and white with a strong infusion of complex color. The window treatments take reference from a vintage silk kimono hanging on the opposing wall, and subtle silver stars twinkle on the ceiling to punctuate the rich tone of the floor boards. |
